Osteopathy is an effective form of manual therapy which treats the patient as a dynamic unit of function including their fascia, muscles, bones/joints, nervous system, circulatory system, lymphatic system and organ systems. Using principles founded in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, the Osteopathic Practitioner’s thorough process facilitates health through comprehensive assessment to accurately identify the root cause of dysfunction, and structural adjustments to provide an environment for restored function.

Proactive healthcare can be an asset to your long term health! By treating structural restriction before it presents as symptoms or disease can help you keep up with your health goals and avoid more complicated concerns from arising. Osteopathic care is safe for all ages from infant to elderly!
Please note: Osteopathy is a complementary health care and individuals should continue to seek care with a physician when needed. Our role is to work through anatomical structures to ensure the body can best manage its function, and as a result can affect symptoms. If there is ever a change to your health, please ensure to inform your practitioner immediately. In addition, if any red flag symptoms are presenting, your practitioner holds the right to terminate care until further investigations are complete and/or refer you to another medical professional with the required scope of practice for your case.
1 - 4 treatments
The goal in this stage of treatments is to create a suitable foundation for the following stages. This can include global posture patterns and general range of motion.
This step is imperative before progressing into smaller structures of the body as we want to ensure the body is properly responding to large vectors of force before "zooming in" to smaller areas.
2 - 5 treatments
This stage of treatment focuses on the root cause of what is leading to dysfunction in the body and impairing your health.
This step will address more focal areas in the body including the spine, specific joints, sites of injury etc. which are structurally contributing to the decrease in your function.
1 - 3 treatments
This final stage aims to resolve any remaining restrictions as a transition into proactive and/or maintenance care.
This stage should see the body in a much healthier state, more resilient and as a result treatment may be less intensive with more time in-between treatments. This stage is still very important to sustain the benefits of treatment and promote long-term wellness.
